What's your angle?

Greyhound racing is a mutuel sport. You are not playing against the track owner. You are playing against the other players at the track. If you understand this then it's only logical that you should be looking at a race from a different angle if possible.

The most common handicapping factor is speed. Rest assured that every player at the track is probably using this as their only handicapping factor, or it is their main factor. Any race where you can see advantage with other factors to exploit means you will be going against the crowd money. This is the easiest way to move their money into your pocket.

Spend a few days only using speed as your LAST factor rather than your first. See if you don't start picking up on some wins that your opponents are missing. The result will be bigger profits in your future!
